Our mission is to make truly bespoke joinery accessible. By designing and manufacturing locally in Peterborough — with no middleman and no standard-size compromises — we deliver premium, made-to-measure kitchens, wardrobes and bedrooms that are built to last and priced with no showroom mark-up.

Our story

The ABJ Journey

ABJ Kitchens & Bedrooms was founded in Peterborough in 2017 with one clear goal: to challenge the generic, flat-pack culture of the high-street kitchen market. We saw too many homeowners forced to compromise their design to fit standard cabinet sizes, or pay inflated prices for a “bespoke” label on rebranded standard units.

So we took a different path and invested in our own manufacturing workshop right here in Peterborough. By controlling the whole process — from the first 3D design to cutting the board and the final installation — we remove the delays, damage and miscommunication that hold the industry back. There are no commission-led sales agents here; just experienced designers and skilled makers.

Today we design, make and install made-to-measure kitchens, fitted wardrobes, bedrooms, media walls and storage for homeowners, landlords and trade customers across Peterborough and the surrounding counties.
